CurbShot — Support

Questions, problems, refunds · usually answered within two business days

Email curbshot.support@gmail.com. If your question is about credits or a purchase, open Settings in the app and include your Support ID — it is the only way we can find your account, because CurbShot has no sign-in and we hold no name or email for you.

Credits and purchases

I bought a pack and my balance did not change

Stores confirm a purchase to us a moment after you pay, so a balance usually catches up within a few seconds. If it has not after a minute, reopen the app once. If it still has not, email us with your Support ID and the store receipt, and we will add the credits by hand. You will not be asked to pay twice.

Do credits expire?

No. Purchased credits stay in your balance until you spend them. There is no window and no countdown.

An edit failed. Was I charged?

A photo costs one credit the first time you enhance it. Retrying that same photo is free, and so is re-enhancing it later. A staging session costs one credit however many styles it generates for you. If a job fails outright, the credit goes back.

I changed phones and my credits are gone

This is the honest limitation of having no accounts: credits live on the device that bought them. Stores can restore a subscription — use Restore purchases on the Get credits screen — but they cannot restore a credit pack that has been paid for and partly spent. If this has happened to you, email us and we will move the remaining balance across.

How do I cancel Pro?

Subscriptions are managed by the store, not by us: Apple · Google Play. Cancelling stops the next renewal; credits already granted stay yours.

Your photos

Where are they kept?

On your device. That includes the untouched original CurbShot archives for every photo you edit. A copy of a single photo is sent for processing when you use an AI tool and is not kept on our servers afterwards.

My archive did not come back after a restore

Listing photos and the database are deliberately excluded from iCloud and Google backups, so they never leave your device on their own — which also means a backup cannot bring them back. Export a listing to keep copies somewhere safe. This is stated in Settings, and it is a trade we made on purpose rather than one we discovered.

Can I remove the “Virtually Staged” stamp?

Not on the MLS compliance profile — that is the point of it. Disclosure of a virtually staged photo is required by most listing rules, and a stamp that can be switched off is not a disclosure. On the flexible profile it is optional, and the app tells you which profile a listing is using before you export.

Something in a generated image looks wrong

Open the photo, tap the overflow menu and choose Report. It reaches us with the reason and your note — never the image itself. If a staged room looks broken, generate again; staging screens its own output and rejects failures before you see them, but it is not perfect.

Does CurbShot change the property itself?

No, and it will not be built to. No walls, windows or doors are added or removed, no damage is hidden, no fixed object is erased. Declutter removes portable items only. This is a product rule, not a setting.

Deleting your data

Deleting a listing removes its photos and its archived originals from the device permanently, and deleting the app removes everything it stored. To have the small server-side record of your credits removed as well, email us with your Support ID and ask.
