Frequently asked
How do credits work?
Every video you render consumes credits from your balance. A standard 5-second render currently costs 60 credits. A cinematic Veo-class render (premium only) costs 300 credits. The exact cost is shown in the app before you press render, so there are no surprises.
New users get a small number of free renders when they sign up. You can buy credit packs (500 / 1,000 / 3,000 / 5,000) any time from the Credits screen. Larger packs have a better per-credit price.
If a render fails because of an upstream issue, Reeva automatically refunds the credits.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Subscriptions are managed by the App Store / Google Play, not by Reeva directly. To cancel:
- iOS: Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions → Reeva → Cancel.
- Android: Google Play app → Profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → Reeva → Cancel.
Cancelling stops the next auto-renewal. You keep premium access until the end of the period you already paid for — we don't remove access on the cancel date.
Can I get a refund?
All payments are processed by Apple or Google, which means refunds are handled through them as well — we can't issue refunds directly.
- iOS: Visit reportaproblem.apple.com, sign in, and request a refund for the Reeva purchase.
- Android: Open Google Play → Reeva → Refund (available within 48 hours of purchase), or visit your Google Play order history.
If a render failed and credits weren't auto-refunded, email us — that's our bug to fix.
How do I delete my account?
Inside the app: Settings → Delete account. The deletion is permanent and removes your email, uploaded photos, generated videos, and purchase history from our backend.
Note: deleting your Reeva account does not cancel an active App Store / Google Play subscription — you need to cancel that separately (see the question above). Otherwise it will keep auto-renewing under your Apple ID / Google account.
How do I export my data?
Inside the app: Settings → Export my data. You'll get a JSON file with the data Reeva stores about you (email, user ID, purchase history, render metadata). Photos and videos are not included because they're already in your gallery.
Why did my render fail?
The most common reasons:
- Photo too large or wrong format. Reeva works best with JPEG / PNG / HEIC up to a reasonable size. Try a smaller photo.
- Content blocked by moderation. The image or prompt was flagged as potentially unsafe by our automated moderation. Try a different one.
- AI provider transient error. The render server hiccuped. Tap retry — credits aren't charged for failed renders.
- Concurrent-render limit hit. Wait for your current renders to finish, then try again.
If you keep seeing failures on the same input, email us with the render ID (visible in the gallery details).
How long does a render take?
A standard 5-second render usually finishes in 30–90 seconds. A Veo cinematic render takes 1–3 minutes. Heavy load on the AI provider can push these higher. Reeva sends you a push notification when the render is ready.
Does Reeva show ads?
No. Reeva does not show ads, does not use any advertising SDK, and does not collect your advertising identifier. The free tier exists thanks to limited free renders and the optional subscription.
What can I create with Reeva?
You can create short cinematic videos for personal use, social posts, and commercial projects, as long as the content respects the Terms of Service. Don't generate sexual content, content depicting minors inappropriately, content depicting real people without their consent (especially deepfakes), copyrighted characters without permission, or anything that violates local law.
I bought a subscription but the app still shows Free
This usually clears up within a minute. If it doesn't:
- Open Settings inside Reeva and tap Restore Purchases.
- Make sure you're signed into the App Store / Google Play account that made the purchase.
- Force-close and reopen the app.
If it still doesn't show, email us with your purchase receipt and the email you signed in with.
Which devices does Reeva support?
iOS: iPhone running iOS 15 or later.
Android: phones running Android 8 (Oreo) or later.
Reeva is designed for vertical short-video output and works best on a phone. iPad / tablet are not officially supported yet.
