What data is processed?

Purpose of processing

Solely to make the reminder function work: deliver notifications at the times you set and show your dose history within the app.

Legal basis

GDPR Article 6(1)(a): explicit consent. You provide consent by accepting the disclaimer during onboarding when you first open the app. The timestamp of your consent is recorded inside the app.

Retention period

Data stays on your device until you use the "Reset data" option or uninstall the app. There is no automatic deletion — you are in control.

Sharing with third parties

None. Doza does not send any data to servers, does not use third-party SDKs (no analytics, ads, or crash reporting), and does not place cookies. The Android version does not even request the android.permission.INTERNET permission (verifiable in the manifest).

International transfer

None. Since data does not leave your device, no international transfer occurs.

Your rights under GDPR Articles 15–22

You may exercise the following rights by contacting the data controller:

Because Doza is a local-only app, the "Reset data" option gives you immediate, complete access to all of these rights: deletion, rectification (by re-entering), restriction, and objection.

Right to complain

You have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. In the EU, the supervisory authority of your country of residence is competent. In Turkey, the Personal Data Protection Authority (kvkk.gov.tr).

Children's data

Doza is not intended for direct use by children under 13. You may track your child's medications via the family profile feature on their behalf, in which case you confirm that parental authority lies with you.

Changes

This policy may be updated. Significant changes will be communicated via in-app notice. The "last updated" date above always reflects the most recent effective date.
